Training for Life is an initiative that provides programs for sports performance, after-school enrichment and life counseling for members of the Los Angeles community.
Sports and active life style are a core to our program. But tutoring and life counseling are critical elements to creating an environment for success in at-risk youth.
Our leadership is experienced in non-profit programing. We have also helped dozens of athletes realize their dream of participating in past Olympic Games, being part of the US National Team in their sport, or gaining access to higher education via scholarships in collegiate sports.

Your gifts help us accomplish our mission and may be directed for the use of people enrolled in our programs to:
- Enable tutoring by certified school teachers.
- Pursue a college education
- Provide mentors and life counseling sessions.
- Access sports equipment and coaching for elite training.
- Engage recreational sports activity.
- Access laptops, tablets and software to expand technology exposure.
- Provide daily transportation to and from the program venue.

The majority of our budget is generated each year by donations from individuals, foundations, and corporations. Over 80% of each dollar donated to our organization goes directly to the at-risk youth and athletes we support.
People who enroll in our program have dreams. Some want to be the first to graduate high school in their family. Some want to graduate college. Some want to learn better ways to cope with stressful family or social circumstances. Some want to pursue high performance sports training. Some dream of competing for their home town in the LA28 Games.
